This is neat! I'd love to see it done with other cities with long histories and extensive urban rail systems. (There aren't as many as I'd have thought.)

It's true! In fact, over on Fb orichalcum suggested 18th century Boston or 19th century New York.

Because I'm that kind of geek I'm busily compiling a list of cities with a) lots of transit stations and b) long histories.
