I can't *exactly* hear it. With the speakers turned way up, I can tell a difference between when it's on and when it's not, but as someone else said, it's more feeling it than something my brain interprets as a sound.
I had some high-end hearing loss as a child from persistent ear infections, but testing a few years ago said that my hearing was normal or even slightly better than normal for my age in the upper range. I don't think this means that there's been any recovery, but that the normal age-related losses have overtaken the area where the damage-related losses occurred.
