I'm finding Simplenote a very helpful notetaking app. It has a feature which is really handy: it automatically syncs the notes I take between the phone and the website. The feature works in both directions so I can easily copy text into a note using my netbook and refer to it later on the phone.

It's available for iOS and Android but I've only ever used the Android app.
