Date: 2016-03-03 09:09 pm (UTC)and then i slap myself, because i'm warm, fed, have a good relationship with someone who loves me, tons of friends all over the country if not world, and things i love to do in life. yes, some of them are on hold now, until i find or figure out land to garden on, and yes, house valuations (even here in bumblef*ck Maine) are too high, but the people who previously owned the house we looked at today had four or five kids, and divorced, and lost the house to foreclosure.
and even they, at least weren't fleeing a druglord or warzone.
so life can always be worse.
