Now that I'm home I actually have semi-reliable access to fast net, so I'll be posting. I realize I've already gone out of order, so I'm not going to be particularly fanatical about sticking to chronological order on the rest of this. In fact, I have some Brazil postings from February that are still on dead trees, and I'll post those, too.

With luck I'll get these entries into LJ before I leave again.

WRT dates: I'll try, but if I forget, all the Brazil postings are from February 2003 and the Germany/Poland/Lithuania/Latvia/Italy ones are from June 2003.

If things get very much out of whack I'll be a little more careful about labelling, but that's all the backlog I have right now, so there shouldn't be much confusion.

BTW, I found Warsaw much more worthwhile and much less dirty/dangerous/unpleasant than described. You should go, as you speak the language fluently and seem quite capable of dealing with any random crap you might encounter in Poland. And it's still relatively cheap.
