Tokyo food recommendations, anyone?

My previous requests for pointers to food turned out very well, so I'm going to try it again. Any suggestions for Tokyo? I'd prefer places that don't break the bank (i.e., I'm not really interested in spending Y5000 on lunch, however good it is, sorry.).

My brother claims to have had the best melon ever at Denny's in Shibuya. Seems like an odd place to go, after going across the world. Apparently pricier than Denny's here, but a million times better, and inexpensive for the neighborhood.
