(I really love his posts, particularly the ones about baseball--mostly the Phillies and the Orioles--because they're a lot of fun to read.)
And now, there's going to be a Game 7. Wheee!
I understand Game 5 of the NLCS last night was a great game, too. Too bad hardly anyone saw it. I tuned in just in time for Jeff Kent's game-winning homer, which was cool, but I didn't get to see any of the Backe vs. Williams pitcher's duel.

Date: 2004-10-20 11:18 am (UTC)The Yankees-Red Sox game began at about 5:10pm.
The Astros-Cardinals game began at 8:42pm (I know this because Fox kept annoucing about every 3 minutes that they would switch the people in St Louis and Houston to the game at that time, and the others could find the game on FX at that point).
The Yankees-Red Sox game ended at 11:01 pm.
The Astros-Cardinals game ended at 11:23 pm.
That's just insanity.
No matter what way Game 7 goes tonight, I get to go to bed early tomorrow. Like 7pm. I'm so looking forward to that.
