Arisia?

I'm about to drive to Arisia from Davis Square, and I have a couple of questions for my friend's list.

1) Is there any point in my showing up at 11:15 or so to help tonight with set up? If they'll be working late into the night, I'll be glad to come down; my sleep schedule is completely messed up--I woke up at 7:30PM--and will likely be awake until dawn.

2) Does anyone want a ride down there soon, or want a ride back from there later on?

Comment and I'll take it from there. If the consensus on 1) is no, then I imagine 2) is moot...

Things have pretty much closed up by now; part of the point of starting Thursday is so we don't have to pull all-nighters (yet!). I think there might still be some people from Tech tweaking things in the ballroom, but even they're ahead of schedule.

Well, I didn't go down to Arisia largely due to lack of replies, but I did have a lot of other things to do, which I did. :)

When do you think I should get down there in the morning, if I want to help out?

Hi, both of you! I'd say there's stuff to do any time from 10am to 3am -- there'll be more setup help in the morning and afternoon, and then the general gophering, helping in a variety of ways, and fighting fires starts.

Arisia is usually MLK weekend, but had to move this year because of hotel scheduling issues.
