...unless you're time travelling in. (I suppose they could keep that requirement anyhow, but they're waiving it.)

Anyway, I just sent timetravelerconvention@gmail.com email RSVPing for me, [livejournal.com profile] bedfull_o_books, and [livejournal.com profile] dpolicar, since these are the only three people from whom I've heard any interest. ([livejournal.com profile] lastclearchance already RSVPed.)

Sorry about the late notice; I just got it myself.

I guess they figure that if there's any possibility of a time traveler coming they don't want him/her to say "Oh darn, missed the RSVP. Guess I won't go."

Yah, but a real time traveler could just jump back to 11PM tonight, email an RSVP, and then jump forward to 8PM Saturday to attend.

Yeah but what if time travel is still expensive?

Er, what I mean to say is, we could play this game back and forth. It also may have been to keep hoax emails out of the inbox. :P

I wasn't/won't be in attendance but I guess one of the profs from my lab is speaking. I found this NY Times article in my weekly news search .. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/06/national/06time.html (may require a free registration..)
