But I SOOOOO understand what you mean. Espcially when someone is asking for advice, but they just can't take it in. *sigh* I guess you gotta learn stuff in your own time. *hug*

Yeah, the problem is that it's always easier to see clearly from an external perspective, when you're not all muddled up by the emotional content of the situation.

I don't think I'm any better than anyone else at taking advice--although I will say in my defense that I rarely ask for it--but I am an old hand at learning from other people's experience. The benefit of having two older sisters, I suppose :)

Well, I ask for other people's input and perspective, which I find very useful. But I rarely say "well, what should I do?" unless I'm pretty open to following their advice.
