randomness...tomorrow is Moving Day (Fête du déménagement) in Quebec. Trash-picking galore, for those of you go in for that sort of thing.
It occurred to me once that, if not for the border, moving companies could have a real opportunity doing moves in Quebec for July 1 and Eastern Massachusetts for September 1. You'd have plenty of time to move the trucks and workers.
Alas, NAFTA hasn't done anything for that business, probably because they don't have enough lobbyists.
Tomorrow is also Canada Day, of course.
Our move ends tonight, which is one reason why this is at the forefront of my mind today.
