I've been having trouble posting since June 1st. This post is just me trying to get LJ to accept something for posting.

Just keep trying. I've had to make at least two different tries hitting the "Post" button (i.e., go back to the screen where you entered the text and hit the button again) to get LJ to take it. I have no idea why, though.

Oh, I was definitely trying. I must have tried dozens of times, over a period of 72 hours.

Sounds like whatever it was hit you much harder than it hit me. As you say, at least it's over now.
