Aaugh! Not again! My laptop is failing to charge, again.

I can't tell if it's the replacement charger, or if it's the laptop itself. Has anyone in Eastern MA got an old-style Mac laptop charger I can try before I buy another new charger brick? (It's the one with the round plug, not the magnetic one.)

If not, surely an Apple store (and possibly other computer stores as well) would have one around they could let you try before you have to buy one...

Yeah, the appointment at the genuis bar costs you nothing. You could let them diagnose the problem for you.

It took all of a minute to diagnose with the help of a friend's charger, late in the evening after the genius bar was closed. It's the brick, not the laptop.
