Date: 2009-10-31 12:50 pm (UTC)IMEHO, it seems to me to be the perfect time to start pushing carpooling: restrict traffic on the bridge to cars holding more than one person, and limit it to a certain number of cars a day - only pass holders can use the bridge. each car will weigh more, but less cars crossing = less vibration. and lots less gas. and pass revenue to build the new bridge... theoretically.
