Rain, rain, rain.
Jun. 24th, 2003 06:21 pmSo, I'm told it's been like this in Boston lately, too.
I'm in Vilnius, Lithuania, using the free internet at the hostel here. Wow, it's wet out. :)
More when there isn't a line for the single machine.

Noah's return . . .?
It's been raining for the most part for the last two months in DC area as well . . . actually took out the power three times at Free Spirit Gathering this year as well!
Though yesterday and today are getting hot and bright. :( I don't mind the dry so much as the bright bit . . . but that's me =;-}
Anywho . . . back to web research for my internship *waves*
Stay dry and healthy my friend!

I have a feature article in my Vilnius in your pocket guide called "Chow! An in-depth look into the extraordinary world of Lithuanian cooking" (It's two pages, which is a comment about the amount of available space in the guide, not about Lithuanian cuisine.)
One of the sidebars *is* titled "The mighty potato", however.
I have eaten well here, but I like heavy food. There was a nice pork roast at dinner last night, and I've had some pretty good herring appetizers. Vilnius is a fairly small place as capitals go, though, and no particular restaurant has really grabbed me as being worthy of a write-up. We'll see after breakfast, though.
