I don't believe that will accomplish anything, as the issue with frienditto is that your "friends" are giving it THEIR usernames and passwords. So it's not the frienditto user that is accessing your LJ, but the person.

Ah, okay, fair enough. I dunno, like I said, I only lock posts--generally, first drafts of postings--to avoid spamming my readers.

Also, I didn't know about the admin console at all.

The frienditto flap is mostly over.

My incomplete understanding is that they were collecting lj userid/password by advertising an archiving service. Trouble is, you had to authenticate, so they got to keep your userid/password pair. People got very upset because their friends-locked posts could then be read off the frienditto site, because that site didn't lock them.

I could be wrong about much of this; this is all hearsay.

Many people are learning and preaching many lessons about this incident. Mostly stuff you already know.

Thanks for the good wishes! My head hurts, but that may not have anything to do with frienditto.
