(Specifically for [livejournal.com profile] apintrix and [livejournal.com profile] cmat, who very kindly asked to be kept up to date. And others, who didn't specifically ask, but did comment. I've been babbling about my various minor illnesses for long enough that I'm sure I've become tedious. Thank you all for paying attention.)

The irony of my having contracted (commonly) childhood diseases is not lost on me. Nothing serious, and stuff you'd see in a third-grader. (Insert obvious remarks about maturity here.) Heh. When you described your symptoms and their context, a number of very scary possibilities, in addition to Fifth disease, popped into my head.

Yah, I was actually doing a bit of research at the time I posted, and I noticed that couple of those possibilities were scary enough that if I had them, I probably wasn't going to make it to the doctor's office. Not on my own, at least.

Thus the "ut-oh". :)

But the lack of any fever was somewhat reassuring, as was the fact that overall, I was getting better.

Thanks for the good wishes!
