Again with the obscure questions.
Dec. 6th, 2005 04:46 pmAnyone know offhand if tickets for the Société de transport de Montréal (the bus and metro operator) expire at the end of the calendar year printed on them? I have two 2005 tickets left and wonder whether I'll be able to use them in 2006.

I'll know in a month, so check back with me if you don't get an answer before then.

Date: 2005-12-06 10:18 pm (UTC)I'm going off-continent until March, starting in a week, so I'm clearly not going to be able to use them before the end of 2005.
Thanks, and I will definitely check back with you.

Date: 2005-12-06 11:16 pm (UTC)They don't expire, but if they notice they may ask you to pay the difference. If you're taking a bus, they probably won't notice. If you're going by metro, go through the window stile and slip the ticket through the slot at the window--the machines at the other stiles are the only things I can think of that may pick up on the date difference.

Date: 2005-12-07 01:32 pm (UTC)I'm bummed that I'll miss you by only a few days and then won't see you until March! But have a great time in Europe, and maybe we can hit up some Boston (or Montreal?) restaurants when you get back. :)
