It's green here.

News outlets around the Bay Area have been running stories about the wet March here. Twenty-five of the thirty-one days of last month had measurable rainfall.

It's really made the landscape around here a very pretty green. I drove down I-680 from Vallejo this afternoon. The hills were the bright green of young grass.

There's going to be more rain here later today, they say.

Naah, this is Northern California. Apparently the green happens every year up here, or so say my hosts. It's just a question of how long the green lasts.
