randomnessI find that I draw a distinction between malicious racism and racism that arises from something well-intended. At least, I do when they're directed at me personally. (I'm perfectly willing to get angry on someone else's behalf if they're upset.)
They're certainly both problematic, but I find that I can often laugh about someone's racist blooper but the malicious racism just pisses me off.
I'll be glad to tell the story, but only in person and not on line.

The incident which made me laugh isn't one I can talk about on line, sorry.

I can't be bothered most of the time, although sometimes I entertain myself by reading comment threads for the dark humor of it all. (Ebola news article comment threads have recently been a prime source of ugly nastiness.)
